ESPRESSO MARTINI RECIPE

Classic Espresso Martini

Ingredients:
1 oz cold Espresso
1 1/2 oz Vodka (Absolut)
1 1/2 oz Kahlua
1 oz white Creme de cacao
Mixing instructions:
Pour ingredients into shaker filled with ice, shake vigorously, and strain into chilled martini glass.
It should be somewhat frothy.

Espresso Martini / Coffee Martini

The coffee, or espresso martini gives you a caffeine buzz and an alcohol buzz at the same time.  There are two types of martinis: the gin martini and the vodka martini. Let me assure you that gin does not work for this drink, so don't bother. Stick with a vodka base. Many of the recipes call for a shot of some other flavored liquor or liqueur, such as:

Coffee and Vanilla Stolichnaya - flavored vodka
Godiva Original and Cappuccino - Original is chocolate flavored liqueur, Cappuccino is a sweet coffee flavor
Kahlua - coffee flavored liqueur
Bailey's Irish Creme - creamy, vanilla liqueur
Frangelico - nut-flavored liqueur

Italian Ice

1 shot: Classic Italian Espresso blend
1 shot: Kaluah
1 shot: Stoli Coffee
1 shot: Stoli Vanilla
Served in a chilled martini glass, shaken or stirred.

Just like a Frappuccino

1 shot: Tom's Espresso blend
1 shot: Bailey's
2 shots: Stoli Coffee vodka
Shaken, with ice.

Milkshake with a Kick

1 shot: Malabar Gold
1 shot: Godiva Cappuccino
1 shot: Skyy Vodka
Shaken, with ice.

Coffee Craving

1 shot: Malabar Gold
1 shot: Godiva liquor
2 shots: Skyy vodka (chilled)
Stirred.

Nutty Coffeeman

It has a golden glow to it and tastes very nutty.

1 shot: Malabar Gold
1 shot: Frangelico
2 shots: Vanilla Stoli
Shaken, no ice.

Strain into a martini glass and add a lemon twist.

1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 shot of cold espresso
splash of creme de cacao

Fill martini shaker half full of ice.
Add vodka, cold espresso and creme de cacao;
put on lid and shake (four good shakes is ample.

with coffee beans if desired.

1 oz chocolate syrup
1 oz raspberry syrup


Shake in a martini shaker with ice. Pour into a martini glass and top with a splash of half-and-half.

2.0 oz Coffee Espresso
0.5 oz Coffee Liqueur Kahlua
1.5 oz Tia Maria
2.0 oz Vodka Stoli Vanilla
Chill freshly brewed espresso at least 2 hours before mixing cocktail(s). Refrigerate an entire pot if necessary. In shaker, add vodka, Kahlua, Tia Maria, and chilled espresso. Shake vigorously, until foamy. Pour into chilled martini glass.

2 oz. espresso
12 oz. Malibu rum
12 oz. vanilla-flavored vodka
2 oz. Tia Maria
Shake. Dip rim of martini glass in chocolate, cover with coconut shavings and add an orange twist.

Shake Absolut, Espresso, Kahlua over ice.  Fill glass. Use whipped cream to lightly cover the top(1/8th inch thick) Cream should be thick but pourable and layer over the top.  Drizzle with chocolate syrup.

Afternoon Coffee Vodka Cooler

Save some of the morning coffee-the stronger the better- to make these afternoon creamy vodka refreshers

Ice cubes
1/2 cup cold brewed coffee
2 tablespoons Coffee Bean Vodka
1 tablespoon whipping cream, half-and-half, or light cream
1 teaspoon superfine or granulated sugar

1. To serve, fill a short glass with ice. Add coffee, Coffee Bean Vodka, cream, and sugar to glass. Stir gently. Makes 1 cooler.
Note: You can also use the Coffee Bean Vodka to make an Espresso Martini. Fill a martini shaker with ice. Add 2 tablespoons Coffee Bean Vodka. Shake vigorously. Strain vodka into a well-chilled martini glass. Add 1/2 cup cold brewed coffee; stir gently. Add a splash of cream or cream-based liqueur if you like. Makes 1 martini.
